Don't Shoo Me, I'm Only the Piano Player

I photographed blues pianist Phil Stinson on stage at a Caldwell Country Traditional Musicians Showcase. Some months later, he asked me to work up a design for his solo CD, "They Call Me Mr. Lucky." Phil's on the cover, but this photo greets the listener inside the jewel box opposite the disc. Our black cat Maybelle (she was a tuxedo but she could hide it well) is perched on one of Phil's favorite pianos.
