Sal LaRicia
Salvatore LaRiccia.
Spend a few weeks aligning a spectrograph, heliostats, assorted gratings. Then, a few days before the eclipse, watch while windborne sand threatens everything. Take it apart, tape down the sensitive bits, cover it all up, hope for better weather on the 30th, and hope for time before then to redo a month's work.
