Starguide at Work
A volunteer starguide takes visitors for a tour of the night sky using
a 25-inch telescope donated by John Sefick. During the long exposure,
the stars spun around the north celestial pole, and the observatory dome
spun around its track, allowing the red light inside to create this "X-ray"
view through the dome. The lights of Farmington shine on low clouds almost
a hundred miles away.
